LEO Appologizes for Lack of Posts, Updates

Posted In: In The News

It came to our attention recently that folks are not aware of our very active Facebook pages. Please visit, and LIKE, us at:  Labadie Environmental Organization (LEO) and Save Our Bottoms.

Given the hectic schedule of litigation, EPA regulation, etc. we have not found someone who can keep The Blog from the Bottoms up-to-date. Rest assured, that LEO continues to fight via any avenue available to stop coal ash dumping in our nation’s floodplains and has expanded our work to cover protections for clean water and viable floodplains.

The LEO President has presented at national press conferences, authored technical comments for both the ELG and Coal Ash federal EPA rules and continues to lead the organization through litigation and advocacy at the state level. What LEO needs are dedicated volunteers who can assist with the day-to-day tasks of managing our website and blog, answering communications from the public and assisting with community outreach and education.

LEO is looking for interns who can provide 10-15 hrs of assistance per week at a stipend. If you know of a talented person who can assist, please let them know to contact President Patricia Schuba at prsmail@gmail.com for more details.

Rest assured, LEO is more active than ever and making a difference in a world of corporations, special interests…fighting for a voice for the average citizen and community in determining policy and regulations.
