LEO Takes on DC and Ac...

April 11th-14th representatives from 10 states traveled to DC to talk with decision makers at EPA and with our legislators to demand a strong coal ash rule soon.  Missouri sent 4 individuals included 2 reps from LEO.  We met with Manny Stanislaus of EPA, the team writing the rule and almost all of the top staff members of our state Reps and state Senators. We Need YOU: ATTEND a...

Please let us know if you can attend one of these hearings and provide short testimony on why EPA should adopt Subtitle C regulation of coal ash waste.  There is a small group already signed up to testify in Chicago and LEO has already inquired about potential grant (up to $5000 per organization) to transport folks to the hearings.  We need to know if you can commit to attending and then plan accordingly.  The 2 [ continue reading ]
